OUR STORY

Hotel Altis was one of the original grand Bourgeois homes in Brides Les Bains at the beginning of the 20th century, known as the Villa Val Vert. Transformed to a hotel in the 1970s, the hotel is now third-generation family owned and operated, currently managed by Emmanuel Chedal, a former French national team Olympian in ski jumping. In 2013, Emmanuel and his brothers Francois and Pierre-Antoine embarked on an ambitious project : To completely strip out the interior and rebuild the entire hotel! The result speaks for itself, and is the perfect blend of modernity with tradition, all the while keeping intact the family spirit which has been at the heart of this hotel for decades.
